Best Christmas Spots Around Baltimore

Baltimore is often called the “Charm City” and Christmastime is no exception! We love to wander around the city’s many magical places all season long. From quaint Christmas markets to holiday light displays, there are no shortage of exciting Christmas activities to enjoy in Baltimore this winter. Take a look at some of our favorite spots to frequent during the holiday season below.

Miracle on 34th Street

Located in the Hampden section of Baltimore City, the Miracle on 34th Street Light Display is one of our favorite places to visit each year! This charming section of town is decked out with holiday light displays from Thanksgiving to New Years Day. There are plenty of local vendors on site and also visits from Santa. The display of holiday lights is located on the 700 block of 34th Street between Chestnut Avenue and Keswick Road. Don’t miss it!

German Christmas Market at the Inner Harbor

Ok, this Christmas Market is an absolute MUST to get you in the holiday spirit! This indoor and outdoor holiday market at West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor is pure holiday delight. Modeled after the traditional Christmas Markets in Germany, this amazing set up features wood booths that sell traditional European food, sweets and drinks. There will be plenty of opportunities to shop with vendors displaying arts and crafts, jewelry, and even some international holiday gifts. Enjoy plenty of holiday lights and festive drinks like mulled wine as you peruse this fun and festive market.

Winter Village by Four Seasons

Looking for a more upscale holiday activity? Don’t miss out on the Winter Village at the Four Seasons Baltimore Hotel. Enjoy picturesque views of the Inner Harbor from the rooftop of this luxurious hotel. The rooftop terrace features an ice skating rink, fire pits and activities for all ages. A new addition to this year’s festival is the availability of five semi-private cabanas to rent for you and your family and friends! The hotel also has delicious seasonal food and beverages on their menu, like Bavarian Pretzel Sticks, hot chocolate and apple cider. Yum!

Ice Rink at the Inner Harbor

Ice skating and Christmas go hand-in-hand, so don’t miss out on this festive ice skating rink in the Inner Harbor. Families, small or large groups are invited to ice skate with beautiful waterfront views of the Inner Harbor. The fees are nominal and they also have ice skates available for rent, in case you don’t own your own.
