  • Canton Waterfront Park: Nestled between Boston Street and Baltimore Harbor, this waterfront park features eight acres of green space to enjoy. If you enjoy history, you will appreciate the views of Fort McHenry, which is located just across the water. There are also U.S. Navy ships docked nearby the park. Water enthusiasts can enjoy access to the boat ramp and fishing pier at Canton Waterfront Park, too. This park is often the site of community festivals and gatherings, so be sure to check with local listings to see if there’s an event going on!

  • Waterfront Promenade: Baltimore’s Waterfront Promenade is a runner's, walker's, and biker’s delight. Enjoy 8 miles of paved walkways that surround the Harbor, including a pedestrian walkway and a shared-use bicycle path. Bring your bike or just take a stroll through this walkway with gorgeous views of the water and the city. 

  • Federal Hill Park: This 10-acre park is located on the south shore of the Inner Harbor and is often one of the most photographed spots in Baltimore. Views include Baltimore landmarks and skyscrapers, plus grassy hills and lawns. If you are bringing kids along, there is an amazing playground to enjoy at the very top of Federal Hill Park.

There’s also the Rawlings Conservatory within the park, which features botanical gardens and greenhouses with plants from around the globe. 

  • Patterson Park: This amazing space offers more than just expansive greenery. History and architecture buffs will love the Patterson Park Pagoda. Visitors can choose from an array of amenities, like tennis courts, a swimming pool, two ice skating rinks, playgrounds, and even a dog park.
