Dog Parks Around Baltimore

What could be better than a day spent outdoors with your best furry friend? Lucky for you, Baltimore has an array of fun dog parks to choose from! Keep reading to learn more about dog parks we love around the Baltimore area below.

Canton Dog Park

Your furry friend will love this off-leash dog park with separate spaces for small and large dogs. One of the best features of this dog park is its location within Canton Waterfront Park. So pack up a picnic and enjoy plenty of shaded areas with water views while your dog socializes. Keep in mind that this dog park is run by Friends of Canton Dog Park (FCDP), an all-volunteer committee that maintains the park. Consider making a donation to this great organization for their hard work at keeping this dog park beautiful!

Downs Memorial Dog Park

Within Downs Memorial Park is a wonderful space for your pup to enjoy a fun day in the water. There’s plenty of sandy space on the beach for your dog to run around unleashed and enjoy the sunshine. It’s a great place to have fun on a hot summer day! There is also a public park with over five miles of trails for you and your dog to explore (leashed) after your visit to the dog park.

Locust Point Dog Park

You and your pup have to check out this fully-fenced, astroturf dog park inside Latrobe Park. With plenty of green space, trees, rocks, and climbing areas, your pet will have tons of fun exploring. Plus, they even have a water slide just for dogs! One of the best features of this dog park is that it’s reserved for senior and small dogs every day from 9-10 am and 3-4 pm. Check out some of their fun social events on their community Facebook page, too!

Patterson Dog Park

Located within Patterson Park in downtown Baltimore, you will find an awesome off-leash dog park perfect for your furry family member. The space features two different enclosed areas: one for small dogs and one for larger breeds. Not only will your dog have plenty of space to run around, but there are benches, water fountains, and astroturf for you to enjoy, as well. Step outside the enclosed dog park and you’ll find miles of walking trails, green space, and picnic benches to enjoy together (must be leashed).

Paw Point Dog Park

This fully-fenced, off-leash dog park has plenty of space for your dog to play and swim year-round! One important thing to note is that this dog park is membership-only and located within Lake Roland. Membership allows fully vaccinated and licensed dogs to access the facility, with free reign to explore Lake Roland with your pup.
